An ERP system is probably one of the most complex technology systems deployed at any agency. An ERP system offers a vast set of functionalities including Accounting, Human Resources, Finance, Payroll, Workforce Management, Grants Management, Supply Chain Management and many others. A properly designed, configured and maintained ERP system can provide an integrated and continuously updated view of core business processes and information throughout the agency. An ERP system has the ability to transform an agency by improving collaboration, increasing productivity and increasing customer satisfaction. However, an improper or failed ERP implementation can have a drastic impact on the agency operations.
Niti Systems team has helped agencies with some of the most successful ERP implementations in the transit industry. Our team have experience with wide variety of ERP solutions including Oracle, SAP, Ellipse, Infor and others.
Our consultants helped the agency with an entire implementation of the Oracle ERP e-business suite. This included Project Management, Organizational Change Management and Training, Business Process Reengineering, Technology Assessment, Data Management and Governance, Communications and Implementation Services. The implementation was accomplished in a short nine months (projection was 18 months) and included Enterprise Asset Management, Performance Management, Fleet maintenance, Finance (A/P, A/R, Cash Management, G/L, Budget, Grants), Human Resources (Employments, Employee Self Service, iRecruit, Performance Management and Benefits, EEO Reporting), iExpense, Inventory, Procurement, Audit, and OBIEE (Reporting, Analytics and Business Intelligence).
Our consultants worked with LBT to provide an unbiased evaluation and alternatives analysis of their existing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). This solution was initially deployed in early 2000s by ABB Ellipse (then Ventyx) and was at the end of its useful life. We performed system assessment, requirements collection, functional/technical specifications, vendor selection for the ERP implementation and integration plan.
